Kung-Fu Panda

If there's any computer animated movie worth blogging about, it shall be Kung Fu Panda. I'm a great fan of Eastern Culture and I'm pretty impressed with how Kung Fu Panda was portrayed.

I was really inspired with the character Po (The Big Fat Panda) , how someone who is not promising, living the life of a noodle hawker and eventually turned out to be the legendary warrior Dragon Warrior.

These are a few points that I digested from the movie:

1. There is a genius in everyone of us. It's up to us to find it , believe you can do it and unleashed that genius within.

2. The most powerful secret is there is no secret but to belief in yourself.

3. There is a motivating factor that will move us to success, in Po's case it's the passion for food and kung-fu that unleashed his hidden talent. Everyone has a different factor.

4.Passion is always above raw talent. A person with no talent but with a burning passion and the open mind to learn will always be better than a person with talent but no passion.

5.People are born with dreams. A person must have the courage and willingness to challenge the present way of life ,and change in order to achieve his/her goals.

Expressing a smalll gratitude

According to Rhonda Byrne in her best selling book, "the secret" , a simple act of gratitude can elevate a person's state of mind. Attracting more good things , shifting the mind to think desirable thoughts, instead of thinking of what we don't want. By expressing gratitude, we are actually thinking and appreciating what we already have. By doing so, we shift our mind from thinking of the fear not getting what we want."

First , many thanks to my friend TC for the pleasant car ride. The best thing happened was the introduction to great Swedish bands like "The Cardigans", pop star "Faye Wong" , Katie Tunstall, The Submarines and The Parishers. Great tracks. Ear opener. If you happen to read this, I hope you don't mind when I fell asleep in the car lately. Sori--sori.

Integrity

Integrity is a rare but very valuable commodity.

What is integrity? In a nutshell, integrity means living what you say. Its about being consistent about our ideas , thoughts, beliefs and finally action.

Why do we need integrity? Integrity is mandatory in a process to be a leader. Without integrity , a leader can't lead. He/she is unable to gain trust without developing integrity. Integrity is similar towards leading by example.

The Secret

What is the Secret?

I'm set to find out what is the Secret. I've recently bought the book and downloaded the audio book as well. A trusted friend of mine strongly recommend me to purchase this book.

After some initial browsing, I have a rough idea what the 'secret' really is. It is actually elaborating on the powers of applying the Law of Attractions. It is said that the world's most successful people understood what the 'secret' really is. By actually being aware of our thoughts and controlling what our mind is thinking, we are actually able to control our future. And this refers to attracting things that our mind wants. E.g: the people , the success, the money and etc.

new blog-new idea-new methodology-same objective

I've just recently created a wordpress account. I think that that will be a good place to start posting professionally. It's a part time blog project dedicated to write some serious post.

I'm starting to work on the a4trip guidebook. Yes, it has been a long delay due to the combination of bad luck, personal problems and lack of self discipline. Anyway, we'll make up for the delayed schedule and try our best to get things back on track, right Fabien?

Lastly, just to end todays post, I'd like to add something here. It's very important to know what is working and what is not. We need to have different approach to get a different result. It may be a new blog, a new idea, a new approach or methodology. But make sure the objective is still the same!

tomboy notes

I just discovered a Linux application called Tomboy Notes. A very convenient way to write fast notes, daily journaling, thinking process and etc. People who keep a personal journal might find this application useful. It's still under development.
